The Davao Systems Products and Industrial Sales, Inc. is a duly licensed company established in 1990 by its founding chairman, the late Mr. Antonio G. Taton together with his highly trained, skilled and competent staff and personnel. Its main business is the manufacturing and refilling of ―GUARDSMAN‖ brand wheel-mounted modular (ceiling type and sensorized) and portable fire extinguisher with Product Quality License Nos. Q-0142, Q—0570, Q-0571 and Q-0572 from the Bureau of Product Standards BPS – DTI ISO - 9001 compliant. Its main office and manufacturing plant is located at Sandawa Road, Matina, Davao City.

During its first year of operation, SPISI focused mainly on refilling and servicing of fire extinguishers. It did not take long before the company blossomed. Through the determination of the SPISI management and staff, the company was able to refill and service more than 400 units of fire extinguisher in different brands on its first quarter of operation.

Five years later, the company expanded its plant and engaged in manufacturing fire hose steel cabinets with transparent glass, distribution and installation of fire alarm systems, manual and electronic devices and Fire Hydrants – Dry Stand Pipe with Siamese Twin Fire Department Connections.

As a result of hard work and desire for success, the company received a positive market response and earned support from its clients. With this, the company was able to expand its area of services and operations to nearby cities, provinces and municipalities. Another factor which played a big role in the success of the company was the good quality and exceptional workmanship of the products. As a result, the company captured about 50% of the sales market of fire extinguisher in Davao Province.

Today, Davao Systems Products & Industrial Sales, Inc. has expanded through adding more products to support the fast growing needs of the consumers.

In line with the company’s thrust and commitment to produce the best quality of products to the public, the company applied for a license to manufacture brand new fire extinguishers through the Dept. of Trade & Industry. Because of its remarkable record as a refiller and the acquisition of complete manufacturing equipment and technology (in order to produce top quality fire extinguishers wherein the production is manned by well trained technicians and highly motivated personnel), in less than a year, the company was granted the permission to produce fire extinguishers with the brand name ―GUARDSMAN‖. In addition, the company holds a PS Mark License No. 815 signed by the Bureau of Products Standards (BPS). Moreover, adding to the feather on its cap, Systems Products & Industrial Sales, Inc. complied with ISO 9001 which is an international standard for products.

The Davao Systems Products & Industrial Sales, Inc. has widened its scope of operations from commercial, industrial to maritime industry covering Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao with its hospitable but comprehensive after sales program, service warranties, standby units for back-up, organization of fire brigade, fire safety lectures and seminars and products knowledge demonstration.
